This soul-stirring album features three tracks with background vocals from According to John's, John Waller and Jason Hoard with Heather Mitchell and Chrystina Lloree. "David has a unique and fresh twist to praise and worship music, blending pop with cool grooves, which accents his unique vocal ability," said Wilbanks, who has worked with such notable Christian artists as Third Day and According to John. Throughout the CD, Glenn's lyrical heart for evangelism and his passion for praise shines bright. Fans of both praise and worship, as well as acoustic pop/rock will find the "Stand Up" EP a welcome addition to their collections. "It is so exciting to write songs that inspire people to take steps closer to Christ and to make music that will impact His kingdom." "Open Up Your Heart" is Glenn's favorite cut on the new album because he says "that song will preach" and it is also proven to be a modern day altar call which presents the gospel in a culturally relevant way. After moving to Atlanta in 1997, Glenn has earned a reputation for his lyrical heart for evangelism and a passion for modern praise. After developing a grassroots following, David has become a local favorite. Last year, he gave more than 120 performances, including AtlantaFest, Youthlink and Riverfest. He has shared the stage with multiple Dove award winner, Jennifer Knapp, Jill Phillips and Charles Billingsley. |
